G Lam (Johnson Lam Man-hon, 林文瀚) is a Justice of Appeal on the Court of Appeal. He read law at the University of Hong Kong, graduating in 1983 and 1984 respectively, was called to the Bar in Hong Kong in 1984, and was in private practice from 1985. Lam was appointed a Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court in 2003 and served as President of the Lands Tribunal from 2003 to 2009. In 2011 he was appointed Judge in charge of the Constitutional and Administrative Law List, and in 2012 he was elevated to the Court of Appeal, continuing in charge of that list until his appointment as Vice President of the Court of Appeal on 2 September 2013. He was appointed by the Chief Executive as a member of the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong with effect from 1 September 2021.
